Dastkar 2012 in Bangalore

Dastkar 2012 was a much awaited event for me. After accidently attending the Dastkar exibhition last year in Mekri circle, I was looking forward for this exibhition this year. At last, the announcement happened on their Facebook page. Overwhelmed I saved money to shop big time. There were so many new innovative creations this time. Uniqueness overflows in each and every stall. One factor that mesmerises is the innovative usage of each and every natural thing available like Elephant dung, Banana fibre, Coconut shells, Jute etc,
There was this stall that used tetrapacks like Tropicana, Jumpin etc and used them in making creative, colourful purses, wallets, books etc,.

Everything made of jute and dry grass.
