"All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy" (I'm not jack but maybe Jill)
Work that starts morning goes on, hunting for solutions on Google and other forums chasing the deadline for the task. Amidst, when time permits, grabbing a coffee becomes a luxury!
It was during these coffee breaks that I go to a nearby cake boutique near office. It is a small place, that serves hot and fresh samosas, sandwiches and tasty pastries.
Now let me tempt you with the pictures!
The addictive legend of a talkative, level headed , literally sharp-nosed empowered woman.

Ride to office
It has been close to 3 years of my work life. Born and brought up in Bangalore, I was not exposed to traveling, Bangalore being my native. It was during those 4years of engineering collage days, that I was exposed to traveling 55kms to and fro Bangalore to Chickballapur. It was during this time , I started hating traveling in bus. A big No! The incessant breaks with commodious luggage and people falling over each other. The non-stop regional movies which I could neither hear (open windows invited the rash winds that not only screwed my hair but also buzzed shrills) , nor listen (I don't understand Telugu).
Once I stepped into my Corporate life, I was again helpless initially as my office was around 15kms from home and I had to travel either by auto or bus. Traveling by auto would soon burn a hole into my pocket (I used to wear kurtis without pockets, so I mean wallet). This was when I got determinant in buying a 2 wheeler. After much research and fighting at home (Dad wanted me to buy car while I felt I was still very young and wanted to enjoy riding), I finalised on Mahindra Rodeo for the big burrow space under seat (Add on for a shopaholic) and front fueling (a feature for lame bumps who wouldn't like to get off the bike in bunks).
My relation with riding has only grown stronger each day. Today, I travel for around 20kms to my office in Kasturinagar, another end of Bangalore. First 3 days of riding, there were certain billboards, building, roads and other things that caught my attention. Each day , I travel via this route, I adore these antiques. Soon I felt eager to share these views with my readers. So here is the visual treat. Enjoy!!
The IT infrastructure that hosts all big names of IT companies.
Just a view from lens of my headlight!
An interesting struture on Ringroad, an instant eyecatcher. The bike guy and the address board are not a part of the painting.
I didn't get any such signs. Did you?
How many would get a train sight on their way to office? I do!
Chain of IT structures!

A good start !
A busy weekend was it! I'm down with bad cold. My nightingale voicebox has got stufffed with nausea. It was Friday when I got contaminated with this cold. Ans Saturday I had to travel to Vellore (A huge fire furnace city in TN) to leave my sis to VIT college for her Masters. My sickness aggravated. Today being Sunday was my only relief to get back to shape.
Best part is tomorrow is my first day in my new company. Pretty exited and I'm full-on with energy! Yes I'm a girl and its obvious to say I have smacked my head in deciding as to what to wear tomorrow. And yes decided !
On the way back from Vellore, Daddy cool gifted me a Denim shrug from Miss Players (A Venus variant for John Players just like UCB distinguish their lingerie as 'Under colors of Benetton'). Love every bit of the dark toned elegant wear. Have a look! If tomorrow starts with mist, dew and and cold weather out there, I got a reason to use this pretty clad !

A neccessary change !
Today 17th July 2012, a milestone in my career life. A decision that I should have taken a long time ago in a sane mind. Anyways let me tell you, I am a strong believer of 'All that happens, happens for good !'. There are certain things life teaches you as you live each moment of it with zeal and optimism. Three years in this, my first company has shaped me in a way, I ideally should have. This is where I have chased my desires and inline goals instinctive goals in life.
Now I am left with one weekend gap before I step into the job profile of my desires and dreams. With serving my past month as notice period, I got no pay! Yes that is how it works in my now
ex-company. Had it not been the case, I would have spent the weekend in spas and parlors to pamper myself before taking the new challenge. And this is when the entire city is getting colored with italic, red font letters - 'SALE'. Tempting, yet helpless. But yes I am going to compensate this my first new salary.
With that happy information, I'll leave you girls a with a very good night message!
